No. Most of my conversations begin years before any move — and plenty of families decide to stay right where they are. The goal is not automatically to move. The goal is to live well.
The first conversation is complimentary. It is simply a chance to talk through your home, your priorities and your options with someone who does this every day.
Often, yes. As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist I look at safety, accessibility, single-level living and how spaces could be used differently, then connect you with modification professionals if it makes sense.
Gently, and usually not all at once. I regularly join families as an objective outside voice so the discussion is about options and priorities instead of pressure; including for adult children living far away.
I provide education and introductions to qualified lending professionals who specialize in reverse mortgages and HECM for Purchase. I do not provide financial or mortgage advice myself.
No. Next Chapter does not represent senior living communities. My role is to help you understand every option and connect you with the appropriate resources.
